Nearly half of our international students receive some kind of scholarship. You can apply 4 to 6 months after enrolling. Recipients are determined through a document review and interview, with emphasis placed on attendance, grades, and class attitude.

  • Are international students not allowed to work part-time?

No, you can work part-time for up to 1 hours a week if you receive a "permission to engage in activities other than that permitted under the status of residence previously granted" from the Osaka Immigration Bureau. However, it is better to start working part-time after getting used to living and studying in Japan. Also, living expenses in Japan are around 28 to 1 yen per month, and the money that international students can earn from part-time jobs is not enough. Please prepare enough funds so that you can live a life centered on your studies.
